Then we spend about 20 minutes on Life Insurance and the use of an ILIT (Irrevocable Life Insurance Trust), plus ways of using life insurance for philanthropy and charitable giving.

After covering the Life side of things, we spend about 15 minutes talking about customized Accident & Sickness insurance options and why customization is often required for HNW individuals. In this section we focus on customized Disability insurance, Key Person insurance, and customizing Critical Illness insurance as well.

We wrap up the course by looking at the current regulations and tax environment, following but an overview of innovative insurance products that are often positioned for HNW individuals. We suggest products such as High Value Universal Life policies, Private Placement Life Insurance (PPLI), and International insurance options as these can all be useful for wealthy individuals.
